My Question

Here is My Question:

If someone has had an unpleasant experience with someone or many people, why would they not want the situation to be rectified after they had been hurt? I have a few answers and I want to see what anybody else thinks about it

I don't know about you, but when I feel there is a conflict, I cannot rest until it is resolved. It nags at the back of my mind until there is some resolution, whether in the actual world or just in my perception.

I know it's not the best way to think about things, but, in my limited experience, I can't imagine just 'forgetting' a conflict to the point where it's not a problem any more.

So, honestly, I CAN'T see a reason why someone would not want a conflict to be rectified. I'd be interested to see some of those reasons you thought of, though.
